These are the kinds of recipes that get lost if they are not passed down and recorded. How lucky you are. This post reminded me a lot of cooking with my grandmother (she passed away several years ago). She and her mother owned a bistro in Paris and I was lucky enough to learn many of their recipes. Beautiful post.
